2. Mars 2112, New York City
If you feel like going out of space on Halloween, Mars 2112, located at 1663 Broadway (51st Street), will make you feel like one of those creepy Martians landing on earth during Halloween. Ideal for young and old alike, this restaurant boasts of everything about Martians and UFOs that never fail to amaze patrons. Not to be outdone of course are the culinary offerings. The dining area, named Crystal Crater, stands three stories high and is filled with everything that’s out of this world and will leave everyone feeling like their on some Martian terrain. The food and drinks are all outerspace-themed, all named outlandishly to make you want it more. Waiters wear Back to the Future-like costumes, while meals are served by a “teleporter” that will leave you wide eyed in amazement.

Perhaps, no other restaurant will make you feel like this: it has no windows, it’s shaped like coffin, the interiors are all in black, and everywhere, funeral wreaths hang. Truly, a near death experience for the brave heart.
