A&K Heralds Cuba Itinerary

Cuba used to be the “Final Frontier,” the island yet to be discovered by U.S. travelers due to heavy restrictions. However, with U.S. policy toward Cuba loosening, travel there, too, is becoming more viable. Abercrombie & Kent is taking advantage. The luxury tour operator is offering the 11-day “Cuba: The Forbidden Isle” trip, which went on sale Tuesday for a September 30 departure. (The entire itinerary can be found here.)

According to A&K’s website, lodging will be provided by Hotel Nacional de Cuba B L D.

Via the Los Angeles Times: “The itinerary includes a walking tour of Trinidad, a private home visit where you speak with a Cuban family about their hopes and dreams, a Havana tour with a local architect “who shares his insights on the city’s restoration projects,” a visit to a tobacco plantation.”
