Gifts On Halloween?

Okay, so giving gifts on Halloween are not too customary, but giving treats to the little ones are pretty normal. Right? Well, adults get treats too, but sometimes it is something we are not too fond of… like… hmmmm, candy corn. Just the very thought of candy corn makes me want to, I’ll spare you the details. Spice cookies, I mean what are spice cookies anyway? And don’t get me started on candied apples. Maybe we should create “Chipped Tooth” Day to celebrate all the damage from biting into one of those things. Now before you go thinking I am all ‘bah, humbug’ about Halloween, I am not. I guess I just never developed a taste for a wide array of sweets. Or maybe it’s just candies specific to Halloween.  I don’t know, but I do like to get tasty treats, dress up in costume and head off to a fun Halloween party.

So what type of tasty treats can you give as a gift to someone picky about their sweets?  Or not sweets at all, just little gifts? Herescentsy 150x150 Gifts On Halloween? are 3 gift suggestions you can give on Halloween in lieu of those pesky little candy corns and candied apples:

  1. Scented Candles – or a wickless candle with delightful fragrances of vanilla, pumpkin, cinnamon or spice.  For instance, you can purchase a Scentsy warmer which use a low-watt bulb to slowly melt specially formulated wax.  If you have little ones at home, the Scentsy candle, or warmer as they call it, has no flame, smoke or soot.  It is a safe substitute for a wicker candle.
