Update: Listen in weekly for new episodes of the Journey On Podcast with inspiring and motivating Mompreneurs and Women In Business.

The pilot episode of the Journey On Podcast, raw and uncut, was released earlier this week for your listening pleasure. Our first episodes are scheduled to come your way in the next week. Given this short time period, we wanted to give you the skinny on how you, yes YOU, the listener can get on air without being a guest.

In case, you have not taken a listen yet (pst – go do it now you can open the player in a separate browser), here is the rundown:

The Journey On Podcast will interview a guest weekly to inspire the Mompreneur and Woman in Business. Throughout the summer months, we will produce multiple episodes weekly leading into the Fall with our regular weekly production schedule. On the show, we will discuss travel journeys, fitness journeys and professional pursuits in a fun and engaging way.

To highlight the fun and enhance the engagement, we want you to join us on the show. Here are 3 ways you can participate:

Listener Tip

On our FaceBook page, we will have a status with several destinations we may discuss on air. It will be called our “Tip Jar“. If you have a traveler tip for that particular destination, then you would comment on the Tip Jar status update. A tip that helps with family traveler would be ideal. If we select your tip to discuss on air, then we will send you a PM to let you know. On air, we will read  your tip and give you a shout out using your FaceBook name.

Social Media Q&A

On our Twitter and the guest Instagram page, if they provide one, we will announce the guest and list a hashtag for that episode on the tweet or instagram. You, the listener, will then be able to reply to the tweet or comment on the Instragram with a question your want to pose to the guest. We will give a tidbit about their work in case you are not very familiar with them. If we select your question for the guest to answer on air, then we will message you on the medium you replied and give you a shout out on the air using your Twiiter or Instagram handle.

Call-in Q&A

This is a super fun one. Do you actually want to hear your voice on the air? Well, later this month we will post on our blog… yes, this blog you are reading right now… who the guest is for the upcoming episode. You will then be able to call-in your questions for the guest to answer on air. How cool is that?

We thought long and hard about the type of show we wanted to produce. We like to enjoy life, think of abundance of experience versus scarcity or absence of things. In the end, we want our podcast to exude those same sentiments. So join us weekly. Get involved and listen in to our podcast. It is one of those activities you do not need to carve our time for.

  • Listen while you ‘get your run on’.
  • Listen while you pump iron
  • Listen while you are driving
  • Listen on your morning stroll
  • Listen while you do the laundry
  • Listen while you are doing mundance task on the computer

You get the idea…

So head over to our social media accounts right now to begin participating.

  1. Great idea. If only I had a Podcast. I’m not even sure what it is. Something technological I guess. But I’m an oldie, living on a pension, so I guess I’ll have to let younger folks run right by me.

    1. It’s talk radio that you can listen to anywhere at anytime. Not a whole lot of technology involved to listen in. headset and listening device. :-) No one listens to AM radio much anymore and this medium has pretty much taken it over. Hope you listen in and enjoy. Maybe even be a guest. 😉
