An article in particulate featured Mother’s Day sayings. Here is an example:
Mother’s Day Sayings from a Daughter
Hundreds of dewdrops to greet the dawn,
Hundreds of bees in the purple clover,
Hundreds of butterflies on the lawn,
But only one mother the wide world over

With travel & lifestyle being our focus, our first-love, we always tend to focus on special time periods such as Mother’s Day for families to travel together. It is a holiday typically filled with dining out, spa treatments, often times even a getaway or cruise make the schedule. It is one of those special days, perhaps all the women in the family can come together to celebrate together. Grandmother, her daughters and grand-daughters can spend the time together bonding with one another.
Years ago, I surprised my grandmother with a trip to NYC. We kept this secret for many months as we coordinated schedules, flights, decorating the hotel room in Times Square, securing Broadway play tickets, getting Uncles involved to coax her to the airport. It was so much fun and the memories… oh the memories. It is times like those that make you smile in the middle of the day without reason.
How are you making memories this Mother’s Day? Whether it is memories with those no longer with us or new memories you are making with loved ones, share them with us. We love to hear your stories.
