Valentine’s Day Food and Recipes

Need some delicious Valentine’s Day recipes to celebrate the romantic holiday?  Abundant Journeys has searched around to find some options for you if you are cooking dinner at home for Valentine’s Day versus going out to dinner and saving your getaway for the upcoming President’s Day weekend.

Our first stop was the Food Network to find some recipes to share with you for Valentine’s Day.  The Food Network has an entire section dedicated to Valentine’s Day.

Then we headed over to one our favorite magazine’s websites, Bon Appetit, for more recipes and Valentine’s Day food ideas.  Here we found some important Valentine’s Day Do’s and Don’t to assist you with preparing the perfect romantic meal.

And our favorite, thus far, is Bon Apetit’s Sexy Food Slideshow.  Now Abundant Journey’s loves its home state of Texas.  So we have to share with you some delicious Southern foods for Valentine’s Day.  However, in honor of Mardi Gras fast-approaching, here are some ideas for an elegant Cajun Valentine’s Day.

    That sounds like such a delicious and elegant meal! I love Shrimp… never tried Roasted Red Potato Salad but it sounds good. And I LOVE mashed potatoes. Especially when you add bacon! Mmm
