We have been keeping secrets about our podcast

Several years ago, we had a blog talk radio show. We just did not have the time nor focus to dedicate to its success so we stopped programming. Then time went on, years flew by, and the yearning to have a podcast show has never gone away.

A few months ago, we started really tossing around the idea of restarting our show or producing a completely new show. Since we are starting our rounds on the speaking circuit again – Well-Being Travel Symposium in Toronto  and Las Vegas Travel Show both next month and a few others scheduled for the fall, it seems like a good time to bring our voice, namely my voice, to life on the air waves again.

So we have been keeping this secret from you, our readers, for a few months because we have been brainstorming, planning and gathering the appropriate equipment to make this show start off on the right foot. Now we are down to the last few details of getting our artwork complete, setting up the studio and getting the first test cast marked off the list.

By the way, I am pretty excited to bring the tester to you live in the next week or so to get your opinions.

Soon we will be ready for interviews. So I do not want to give away too many details this week. I will lay it all out when I introduce the tester – hopefully next week. However, for the time being, I will say we want the show to be entertaining while having chats with lady entrepreneurs, work from home moms, lady bloggers and the like discussing everything our blog is about regarding moms and families: fitness, clean eating, wellness travel and our lifestyles in general. Each person will have the chance to promote a project they are currently working on during the interviews.

The goal of each 30 minute episode will be to answer family and business related questions mixed in with some entertainment as well as learn about how we can support another woman in business. We have a format we want to use in place. That being said, we are still curious what segments you like to listen to on podcast or radio shows? What segments do you not like to listen to on podcast? Give us some segment titles/categories you like and dislike.

And if you do not currently listen to podcast, maybe you will be willing to give our podcast a try while you are cleaning the house, churning out an article, taking a walk or waiting for your next meeting to start.

Now, of course, you must know we will seek people to interview. You are probably wondering, “could it be me?” Well, probably. Are you any of the following?

  • author
  • business owner
    • boutique owner
    • realtor
    • whatever…
  • successful blogger
  • female professional
    • fitness professional
    • nutritionist
    • virtual assistant
    • or anything else…
  • podcast host yourself
  • and more…

Are you engaging? Do you enjoy discussing fun topics while promoting your current projects? Will you promote your episode to further your reach for your project? If yes, then you may be able to be a guest on our show. We will present interview request forms along with our tester in the next week or so.

In the interim, if you want to receive first look information on our podcast release date and interview sign-ups, then sign up HERE. You will receive an update before we post it on our blog or announce it anywhere else.

We are so giddy about this new project. We are super stoked to get it going and we hope you will become one of our loyal listeners. Our goal is to make you chuckle a little while you gain some beneficial nuggets to help you improve in your daily personal and professional life.
